There was a low turnout of workers at this year’s Workers Day held on Saturday at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Daily Trust on Sunday observed that many unions and associations members were not at the stadium to salute the governor.
Speaking of his achievements, the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde, said that he had paid over N13 billion as gratuity in the last two years of his administration and approved the promotion of civil servants that had been stagnated for five years.
