Lokoja varsity postpones 3rd convocation ceremony

The management of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has announced the postponement of the institution’s 3rd convocation ceremony scheduled to hold this Saturday, Nov 17.

A statement issued on Thursday in Lokoja by the Public Relations Officer of the University, Emmanuel Bello, said the postponement was due to some unforeseen circumstances beyond the university’s control.

The statement while regretting the inconveniences caused to the invited guests and members of the public, noted that a new date would be communicated in due course.

The statement particularly apologised to the visitor of the university, President Muhammadu Buhari; the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu; the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof Adamu Rasheed, the Chancellor of the university, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idriss and other invited guests for the event.
