Players of Lobi Stars, both old and new are in a joyous mood as they prepare to move into the ultra-modern McCarthy camp refurbished by the Vice-Chairman of the club, Dominic Iorfa.
It will be recalled that during his first stint as chairman of Lobi Stars, the former Nigerian international, built a world class camp for the players at the famous McCarthy stadium but his successors allowed the edifice to waste away.

However, few months into his second coming as CEO of the club, Iorfa with the support of the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and his deputy, Engineer Benson Abounu who doubles as the Chairman of the club, has successfully renovated the camp to ease accommodation problems of the players.
Among other facilities provided in the 22-rooms accommodation is a standard canteen, a Mikano XP 27 P1 generator for power supply, a standard training pitch, a motorised borehole for steady water supply, a match assessment room and a fully equipped dining hall.
Eulogising the Vice-chairman for providing them with a befitting camp, the captain of the club, Daniel Atsaka said “We are not surprised by what Iorfa has done because we know what he is capable of doing when it comes to motivation for his players.
“He was the one who built the camp and he has returned to bring it back to life. We are excited because by staying together we would blend more.”
The legendary David Tyavkase also said “Iorfa is a man with high taste. Anything he sets out to do, he does it with commitment and dedication. In no time, he has revived the once abandoned camp.
“The refurbished camp will motivate us to put in our best in the coming football season.”
