Nigeria Professional Football League side, Lobi Stars of Makurdi have promised their new technical adviser, Coach Kabiru Dogo a conducive working environment for him to realise his full potentials.

This development is as a result of the failure of Lobi Stars’ erstwhile coach Gbenga Ogunbote to have his contract renewed by the management.
Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday, the Media Officer of the club, Mr Austin Tyowua said Ogunbote signed only a year’s contract and it expired at the end of the aborted 2019/20 NPFL season.
He said even as four coaches were on the radar of Lobi Stars, in the end, the club decided to go for the hard working and unassuming coach Dogo.
Tyowua said the vice-chairman of the club Mike Idoko and other management committee members are willing to provide the new coach with the necessary support to enable him succeed.
“Coach Gbenga Ogunbote signed one year contract which has expired. The Board and management of Lobi Stars decided to go for another coach.
“After careful consideration, we settled for Kabiru Dogo. So as we speak, Dogo is our new coach. He has agreed terms with us and very soon, he will sign the papers.
“The management of the club will give him all the necessary support for him to be the best he can be in his chosen career.
“As you are aware, Lobi Stars is one of the best clubs in the NPFL with the capacity to make Dogo a great coach. I am confident he will justify the confidence we have reposed in him,” said Tyowua.
Coach Dogo who came to limelight as coach of ABS of Ilorin also coached Nasarawa United and Sunshine Stars from where he is joining Lobi Stars.
