Representatives of the retired workers drawn from the three senatorial districts who stormed the Government House in Makurdi, urged Governor Samuel Ortom to find immediate solution to their predicament.
Speaking on their behalf, the chairman, Mr Michael Vembeh, stressed that life was becoming  extremely difficult for them to fend for themselves and their families, and appealed to the government to include them in the monthly pension.
The governor who was represented by his deputy, Engr Benson Abounu, assured the retired workers whose biometric data had been captured that they would be paid monthly pension as from July.
