Liverpool are reportedly contemplating the idea of selling Mohamed Salah to Real Madrid but want a player and a huge sum of cash in return.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah remains at the top of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez’s wishlist this summer.

Any deal for the Egypt international would likely cost in the region of the £200m Paris Saint-Germain paid for Neymar last year.

But that isn’t putting the European champions off making an audacious bid with Perez eager to break the bank for new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Liverpool have so far rejected any advances from the La Liga giants but recent reports from Spanish publication Diario Gol claim the Reds have now told the club what offer needs to be made to sign Salah.

Jurgen Klopp is keen to find a new goalkeeper for next season following concerns over Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.

The Reds have been linked with a move for Roma’s Alisson and Madrid’s Navas.

And Diario Gol say Liverpool will now be prepared to cash in on Salah if they get a goalkeeper and a hefty fee in return.
