Lifetime Achievement Award: You’ve made indelible mark on Nigeria, Tinubu congratulates Mamman Daura

A national leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mallam Mamman Daura on the lifetime achievement award conferred on him by Vanguard Newspapers, in recognition of his service to the nation.

Tinubu in a letter, he personally authored said Mallam Daura is deserving of the award as he has made an indelible mark on the country.

“Throughout your life you have excelled; whether as a premier journalist of extraordinary range and commitment, an erudite newspaper editor, a banking administrator, businessman, politician and statesman. For your achievements in these fields and elsewhere, you are truly deserving of national recognition in the form of this Lifetime Achievement Award,” Tinubu said.

The former governor of Lagos state said Nigeria needs citizens, leaders and statesmen, who like Daura are willing to selflessly and consistently dedicate themselves, their knowledge and their experience to the betterment of the Nigerian condition, the development of the people and the strengthening of national bonds.
