Libyan returnees receive aid

Libyan returnees of Akwa Ibom State origin have received relief materials from the state government to assist them settle to normal life.

The relief materials which include sewing machines, clothing/blankets, toiletries, mosquito nets and other household items were handed over to the beneficiaries by the Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo in Uyo yesterday. 

Addressing the 10 returnees, Ekpo who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the office of the Deputy Governor, Mr Nkopuruk Ekaiko advised them to settle into meaningful life and integrate themselves into the society.
