The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule says he has no anointed candidates for the forthcoming council polls across the 13 local government areas in the state.
The governor made this known in a statement Sunday signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ibrahim Addra, shortly after a stakeholders’ meeting held in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.

Daily Trust reports that the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC), has fixed October 6, 2021, for the conduct of Chairmanship and Councillorship elections in the state.
“The governor vowed that every member of the party will be given equal opportunity in as much as he or she is qualified,” the statement added.
