LG partners Navy on security

The Chairman, Warri South Local Government Area, Michael Tidi, has pledged his council’s partnership with the Nigerian Navy and other agencies to tackle security challenges.

He made the pledge during a courtesy visit by members of Course II of the Naval War College Nigeria (NWCN), Ubima, Port Harcourt.

He said the synergy would lead to more peace in the local government area.

Tidi stressed that the cordial relationship between the local government and the security agencies will be maintained and improved.

Leader of the team, Rear Admiral TC Udofia, said the visit was to intimate the chairman on the college’s efforts in supporting maritime security, educating naval officers, sister services and friendly nations to provide effective leadership.
