The Overseer, Jema’a Local Government Area, Malam Ibrahim Dayyabu Abdullahi has appealed to Non-Governmental and Socio-Cultural Organisations in Southern Kaduna to invest their energy more on rebuilding bridges of inter communal relations.
He further urged them to strengthen the bond of unity among the diverse people of the area in order to achieve a conducive environment for productive economic ventures to thrive.
He made the appeal when the leadership of the Arewa Consultative and Synergy Congress (ACSC) Jema’a Local Government chapter paid him a visit in his office in Kafanchan.
The Overseer lamented the recurring evil activities of kidnappers and bandits in parts of the state and nation at large, which he said has resulted in the destruction of innocent lives and property and assured that the government was doing its best to end the menace soon.
He maintained that the tasks before the Congress are enormous and very crucial in view of the prevailing realities in the north and advised them to remain focused and committed as they struggle for a better northern Nigeria.
Malam Dayyabu Abdullahi commended ACSC for their foresight, which he described as timely and assured them of the local government support to successfully implement their activities.
Earlier in his address, the branch chairman of the group in Jema’a, Comrade Lawal Yunusa explained they were in the overseer’s office to inform him of the existence of the Congress in local government and to discuss areas of possible collaboration for the general good of the people in the area.
