The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ila Federal Constituency comprising Boluwaduro and Ifedayo Local Government Areas of Osun State have adopted a consensus arrangement for the LG congress slated for Saturday.
Hon. Adenike Elizabeth Abioye representing Ifedayo State Constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly moved the motion for the adoption of consensus.
Moving the motion, the lawmaker said in the spirit of unity and oneness in the party, consensus should be adopted for “our local and state congresses.”
Hon. Lati Jaiye from Ila State Constituency at the State House of Assembly seconded the motion and it was ratified by the stakeholders.
The meeting was held at the Ila Orangun country home of the former Interim National Chairman of APC, Chief Adebisi Akande. Barrister Joseph Oladapo Fakayode presided over the meeting.
