Dear Honourable Minister,
The FCT natives are indeed grateful for the relentless and valiant efforts you are putting towards bringing the educational system in Federal Capital Territory to high standard.
Nonetheless, Honourable Minister, I want to seize this medium to inform you that teachers of the Local Education Authority (LEA) in FCT have been on strike for over a month due to unpaid arrears for years. Leaving young children straying around is dangerous to the future of the society.

Sadly, no concrete effort is being put in place to end the ongoing strike, thereby leaving young vulnerable children of less fortunate parents at home. This is not a good idea with the issue of formidable vices looming in our societies in this recent time.
It is worthy of note that teachers are being paid meagre amount as salary, which is not enough to feed and meet other necessities for them and their families.
The situation is made much worse with the current high cost of living being experienced in the country.
The area council chairmen have made an unusual decision that may adversely affect thousands of lives of citizens by increasing domestic hardship.
We, however, implore you to call them to order and bring to an end this situation to save our young people.
