Letter to EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa

Having served EFCC for 16 years as a detective, you have worked tirelessly hard on yourself

I join other well-wishers and colleagues of mine to congratulate Abdulrasheed Bawa on his appointment as the new Chairman of EFCC. As someone who is very vast with all the necessary skills, knowledge and experience, I have no doubt in your capacity, especially that you have worked with the anti-graft agency for 16 years and as a certified fraud examiner and anti-money laundering expert of international repute.

As a seasoned and fearless EFCC investigator with vast experience in the investigation and prosecution of Advance Fee Fraud cases; official corruption, bank fraud, money laundering, and a host of other menaces associated with corrupt practices, I strongly believe that you have done and accomplished a lot to this point and you truly deserve this opportunity to offer your contributions and wealth of experience in making the Nigeria of our dreams that is free from the shackles of corruption.

Having served EFCC for 16 years as a detective, you have worked tirelessly hard on yourself and created the necessary advantage to convince us as citizens of a great nation of your potential and abilities.

While congratulating you, I wish to conclude with some of your words that give us hope of your capacity to bring the much-needed sanity into the system: “I am going to give the young people a very good representation in the governance of this country so that more young people will be given more responsibility in this country.” Congratulations!
