Technically, the Nigerian Armed Forces have shown a commendable act of bravery in carrying various operations against Boko Haram terrorists. The security situation around the country laid a hopeless foundation in the desperate hearts of the citizens. But recently, the Nigerian armed forces are nailing down the security challenges with determination and sacrifice.

Some reports show that since the beginning of 2021, the new tactics of the armed forces are yielding positive results largely due to the support of the federal government to end the insecurity. Our armed forces deserve  a salute, not just with our hands but from our hearts too. Imagine facing such a dilemma to save their country, this victory is not really cheap.

Our applause to our armed forces for neutralising Boko Haram insurgents in Sambisa forest cannot be overemphasised. I was very excited when I read the news about the killing of many insurgents in the forest. It’s indeed a welcome development and we should commend our gallant officers for their tireless efforts to bring peace to the North East.

Also, nine days ago, many insurgents were also killed by our gallant officers in Gujba town of Yobe State while some others sustained gunshot wounds.

Another welcome development also happened in Birnin Gwari of Kaduna State where aerial missions conducted by the military-led to the killing of many bandits.

So far, the armed forces have done the majority of chasing out of these hoodlums to restore the peace in our land. For this gallant  efforts by our armed forces, I urged all Nigerians to stop asking the president to change the service chief, they are not our problem.
