Lengshak Sati Gomwalk (Poet) The Haj by Leon Uris

Poet and short story writer Lengshak Sati Gomwalk’s last good read is ‘The Haj’ by Leon Uris. “The book made me understand the much-seated animosity between the Jews and the Arabs,” he said. “Hatred is a seed that is planted in the heart and is nurtured to deadly maturity. But so is love. Uris explained how the Jews turned their desert into gardens, thereby revealing how poverty can be cured by ingenuity and sheer determination. It is such a wonderful read.”

Gomwalk is a poet and short story writer. His short story, ‘Against All Odds’ was featured this year in ‘Jostice’ a short story anthology published by Plateau Authors’ Group (Plag).
