The league though refused to grant a request by Shooting Stars that their match on Sunday at Nembe City be shifted in tribute to the late player.
Shooting Stars top official Ade Somefun told MTNFootball.com, “We reached the LMC on the need to postpone our next game coming up on Sunday against Nembe City as a result of Moses Ogaga’s death, but LMC official Salihu Abubakar said the approval won’t be granted.
“Abubakar said that the deceased player would only be honoured with a minute’s silence and wearing of black arm bands in Nembe and that all league games must go on as scheduled.”
