A magistrates’ court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State, has ordered the remand of a lawyer, Abdulfatai Yusuf, in the correctional centre at Oke Kura for defrauding his client, Omoniyi Asiwaju, of N2 million.

The plaintiff had reported that the suspect was contracted to help him recover some money of a disposed land from one of his clients.

The prosecutor, Innocent Owoọla, told the court that, “But after he collected the money, he failed to recover the land money and also refused to return the N2m.”
