Laushi vows to restore past glories of Jos Polo

Jos Polo Club President, Murtala Laushi has pledged to revamp the game of kings in Plateau State and restore the past glories of the noble game in the Tin City.

Following his emergence as the new boss of the club early this year, Laushi has been mobilizing members to key into his passion and commitment to repositioning the game as one of the biggest sport endeavours that would restore  the highly sort after peace in the plateau.

“Polo has been on the forefront of the quest for a lasting peace in the state and the management committee under my watch is committed to using the noble game as a vehicle that would guarantee and restore our pride as the Home of Peace,” the Jos polo boss open up to Polo Royals.

The Malcomines polo team Patron, hinted Polo Royals that as part of his policy outline, the new management plans to use the choice sport of Polo in showcasing to the world that the state  has the potentials and welcomes prospective investors as the game serves as a world class recreation and quality hospitality.

“My love and passion for the oldest team sport in the world is second to none and in all my involvements so far, I’ve demonstrated this tenacity, zeal and commitment to the promotion of the game not only in the state, but across the country generally,” he added.

He noted that polo and sports generally, remains not only a veritable tool for fostering friendship, national unity and cross cultural understanding but also a magnet for international diplomacy and global investment, adding that the noble game is a catalyst for business.
