Late Shehu Shagari never calls anyone a thief – Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central said late Shehu Shagari has never called anyone a thief but lived an exemplary life that is worthy of emulation.

The former President and elder stateman, Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari (GCFR), died after a brief illness at the National Hospital, Abuja.

In a tweet, Shehu Sani described the late president as a man of honesty who has never referred to himself as a saint.

“President Shehu Shagari never called anyone a thief and never called himself a saint;He just lived a self evident and exemplary life of honesty and modesty.He was the first & the last of the Titans of the aborted second republic.May Allah grant him Aljanna Firdausi.Amin”, he said.
