The Local Government Council election in Bauchi has been marred by late arrival of election materials across the state.

The chairman of All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Adamu Maichibi alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has perfected plans to rig the election.
“As we speak some thugs have blocked sensitive materials meant for many wards in the local government from reaching those wards.
“I can authoritatively tell you that the PDP has concluded arrangements to rig the election.
“The APC will reject the outcome of any election that failed due process,” he alleged.
Also, a former Speaker of Bauchi House of Assembly, Kawuwa Shehu Damina, said that the late arrival of election materials cast doubt on the credibility of the election process.
On his part, a chieftain of the PDP in Darazo, Nasiru Darazo debunked the allegations of plans to rig the election, saying, PDP from the state level has made proper arrangements for peaceful and transparent elections.
Meanwhile, there is tension in Misau over the alleged discovery of fake ballots paper.
