LASG impounds 15 tankers over indiscriminate parking

Operatives of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday impounded 15 tankers over indiscriminate parking.

The trucks were impounded along 2nd Rainbow down to Mile 2 Bridge, Oshodi -Apapa Expressway during the enforcement of the state traffic laws.

City & Crime learnt that the operation was carried out on the directives of the special adviser to the governor on transportation, Sola Giwa.

The Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Mr. Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the arrest, saying the impounded tankers were apprehended inside Mile 2 Estates.
