Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has tasked Senator Nora Dadu’ut on the enhancement of the standard of living of her constituents, especially women and youth.
Speaking during a thanksgiving mass for Sen Dadu’ut at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Qua’an-Pan LGA, Lalong said Dadu’ut’s victory at the recently conducted by-election for Plateau South senatorial district was the will of God.
The governor said the state will give her every support to ensure she succeeds at the Senate.
He called for unity among the constituents and the elected representatives of the state to work together for the interest of the people.
In his remarks, the Catholic Bishop of Bauchi Diocese, Hilary Dachelem, said the emergence of Senator Dadu’ut was for the benefit of all the people of the zone irrespective of their backgrounds, hence the need to support her.
Dadu’ut, on her part, appreciated Lalong and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for making her election victory possible and promised to work for the interest of all.
