Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has approved the refund of the 2020/2021 hajj deposits to all intending pilgrims from the state.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Executive Secretary of the State Muslim Pilgrims Board, Barrister Auwal Abdullahi, on Wednesday.

“Intending pilgrims seeking for their refunds should submit their applications through the Board Welfare Officer, where they have deposited their money.
“About 803 intending pilgrims deposited their money for both 2020/2021 rollover respectively’’, Abdullahi said.
He said the governor had also approved roll-over for those willing to use their deposits for the 2022 Hajj.
“Such people will be given priority and an agreement will be signed between the Board and the intending pilgrims,” it said.
The Board Executive Secretary said a committee has been inaugurated to study and clarify the application for refunds drew up modalities and effect payment as soon as possible.
