Lagos task force reprimands soldiers for operating okada on illegal routes

Operatives of the Lagos State Task Force have reprimanded some soldiers for allegedly operating commercial motorcycles on illegal routes.

The operation to reprimand the soldiers and other Okada riders was ordered by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police (CP), Adegoke Fayoade, and took place on Badagry Expressway, Mile 2, Second Rainbow Bus Stop, V-naija Bus Stop, Alabasuru and Berger Bus Stop.

The Chairman of the task force, CSP Adetayo Akerele, who disclosed this, promised the operators who managed to evade arrest that the long arm of the law would catch up with them in the nearest future if they did not turn over a new leaf.
