Lagos shuts bridge

The Lagos State Government yesterday diverted traffic from the Kodesoh Bridge for maintenance work which would last till March 4, 2024.

“Consequently, all other access roads, from Awolowo Way and Oba Akran, inward and outward, will be open to motorists as only the bridge will be closed,” a Ministry of Transport statement reads in part.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured that traffic personnel would be deployed to the route to minimise inconvenience.
