Lagos postpones environmental sanitation exercise

The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the monthly environmental sanitation for March to allow for free movement of people and vehicles during the Easter celebrations. 
A statement released by the office of the Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment, Dr. Babatunde Adejare, noted that the government urged residents to observe the exercise earlier scheduled for today, the last Saturday of March, by cleaning their homes and immediate environment.  
The government also enjoined the residents to make the cleaning of their environment top priority in realisation of the fact that the rainy season was fast approaching,
