Lagos State Police Command said it has arrested a total of 1,019 hoodlums in a week-long raid of criminal hideouts in different parts of the metropolis.
The operations, which were embarked on by area commands, divisions and tactical units were in line with the directive of the state Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade following the resurgence of violent crimes in some parts of the state.
The police spokesman in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin, in an update of the raid of black spots in the state, said between April 8 and April 14, a total of 1019 miscreants were arrested.
“All suspects will be arraigned in court,” he added.
