The body of a young man who plunged into the Lagos lagoon from the third Mainland Bridge has been recovered by a combined team of divers.
The body was said to have been fished out around noon by divers from the marine unit of the police, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), assisted by local fishermen.
The victim was said to have instructed his driver to park on the pretense that he was going to urinate.
The General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu who confirmed the recovery said the team after searching through the waterways almost immediately recovered the body around the vicinity. The body was taken to the Adekunle Police Division for further investigation.
