Lagos: Man docked over theft of N4m jeep

The police on Thursday arraigned a 24-year-old man, Ibrahim Sulaimon, before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing a jeep valued at N4 million.

Sulaimon, whose address was not mentioned, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The chief magistrate, Mrs J. A. Adegun, granted the defendant N100,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.

The alleged offences violate sections 411 and 280(1)(2) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.The magistrate adjourned the case until March 16 for hearing. (NAN)
