A 23-year-old man, Saheed Nasiru, on Tuesday, appeared before a Surulere magistrates’ court in Lagos for brandishing a knife in public.

Nasiru, of No 75, Musadolowu Street, Amukoko, Orile Iganmu, Lagos, is standing trial over a two-count charge of conspiracy and unlawful display of weapon.

The prosecutor, Insp Courage Ekhueorohan, told the court that Nasiru committed the offences with others still at large on June 7, at about 4pm on Amukomo Bridge by Sari, Iganmu.
