The Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke, has sought the support of private organizations in stimulating the economy, via the various wealth creation initiatives.
Arobieke who spoke at a stakeholders’ summit which held at the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) noted said unemployment gap in the State can be bridged with the State’s empowerment initiatives with support from corporate institutions.
She said the outcome of the summit will help reposition the State’s economy through the implementation of well-defined strategic and operational frameworks that promote traditional and social entrepreneurship among unemployed youths and artisans.
She assured of the present administration’s commitment to up-scaling the skills of artisans, youths and women through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).
