The Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area in Lagos State, Prince Usman Hamzat, has presented medical equipment and furniture to all the Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) in the area.
Hamzat said during the presentation on Thursday that the equipment was supplied in order to aid in the delivery of quality healthcare services across the local government.
He said the equipment was distributed to the PHCs at Aina Ajobo, Ajilete, Lonlo, Ashabi Taiwo and Iju-Ogundimu.
He explained that, “The life-saving items supplied worth millions of naira handed over to the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) include beds, BP checkers, scales and scanners.
“Others are suction machines, digital thermometers, infrared thermometers, medical couches, oxygen concentrators, electrical equipment, furniture and other basic health equipment.”
