The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and an Information Technology (IT) training firm, Ingryd Academy, have kicked off a N3 billion IT scholarship training programme for 4,000 youths across the country.
Speaking at the induction ceremony for over 1000 youths in Lagos, the Managing Director of Ingryd, Khadijat Abdulkadir, said the scholarship programme would empower over 1000 youths with practical tech skills and enhance their employability while also equipping them to contribute to the digital economy.
Abdulkadir said the N3bn invested in the programme by LSETF would redefine tech training and ignite opportunities in Nigeria.
She said, “Ingryd Academy and Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) have joined forces to empower tech talent and drive innovation. This will drive innovation, foster tech talent, and empower aspiring tech professionals across Nigerians and Africa.

“The programme’s six-month curriculum includes a three-month paid internship, enabling participants to gain practical experience and apply their newly acquired skills.
