The 2018 edition of the Lagos Fashion Week ended with the grand after-party tagged: ‘Live Your Music.’
The event, which held on Saturday night in Victoria Island, Lagos, gave all attendees thrilling moments as they danced to several tunes dished out by three of Nigeria’s topmost DJs – DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Neptune and DJ Sose.
DJ Neptune kicked off the party with the afrobeat genre, while the King of DJs – DJ Jimmy Jatt took the next turn on the wheels of steel with the Pop music. Nigerian-Hungarian tattoo-faced DJ Sose gave the final vibes with the Hip Hop music.
A major highlight was a sterling performance by the ‘Yeba’ crooner, Kizz Daniels, who got the crowd off their feet with his songs.
The star-studded event also had Denrele Edun who performed with his Acolytes and dazzled the guests with their magical performance.
Commenting on the event, Senior Brand Manager, Obabiyi Fagade said the brand “has consistently given her consumers the opportunity to not just experience the premium and aspirational cues of the brand from the fashion week, but also the platform to get refreshed and entertained at the high energy Live Your Music afterparty”.
Also speaking, MTV Base Presenter, Ehizojie Okoeguale said, “I am glad to have been invited to this party. I particularly enjoyed the performances and the premium treatment. I would definitely not miss any other edition.”
Celebrities who graced the event include Dare Art Alade, Timini, Denola Grey, Denrele Edun, Nancy Isime, Kemi Smallz, Bizzle Osikoya, and Ehizojie Okoeguale, among others.
It will be recalled that the ‘Live Your Music Party’ kicked off in 2016 as the official after party of the Lagos Fashion Week providing music and fashion lovers the opportunity to be part of a spectacular music experience bringing a fantastic end to a creative and entrepreneurial event.
