The Lagos State Government has empowered 217 beneficiaries under its social inclusion programme, Eko Cares Initiative, as a means of empowering indigent members of the State for economic independence and self-sufficiency.
The initiative, aimed at actualising the ‘Greater Lagos’ project of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, is designed as a form of financial assistance to 2,000 beneficiaries from all the Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across the state with the sum of N20,000 to invest in economic activities that would guarantee a quick turnover.
