The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, (Lekki LCDA), Rasak Bamidele Kasali, has built a structure within the secretariat building for the National Association of Ibeju Lekki Students (NAILS).
This is just as he promised the association a new bus before the end of the second quarter of the year 2022, adding that these were parts of the promises he made before being elected.
Kasali also unveiled some of his plans for the undergraduates and graduates who are indigenes of the LCDA.
At an event tagged ‘RBK Aluta Gyration Agenda’ organized by him in conjunction with the NAILS, the chairman vowed to address the challenges facing students of the local government. He said the council under him had made education a priority.
“We have given out free GCE forms to our secondary school students and also approved scholarships to two of our medical students, Talemu Oluwafemi Philip and Lasisi Idris, who are doing excellently well but having challenges with tuition,” he said.
