Officials of the Lagos State Task Force have removed squatters along the newly commissioned Red Line rail in the Fagba area of the state.
They also impounded approximately 425 commercial motorcycles whose owners were reportedly using restricted routes in the vicinity.
As part of the operation, several shanties used by beggars and wooden shops belonging to street traders were demolished along the Fagba corridor, following the launch of the Red Line Rail project by the Lagos State Government.
The chairman of the task force, CSP Shola Jejeloye, said miscreants have converted the area into a place for their criminal activities.
