Lagos beams searchlight on illegal recycling plants

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), says it has beamed its searchlight on illegal recycling plants allegedly involved in the redistribution of expired medicament.

The move, it was learnt, may not be unconnected with the recent discovery of a recycling plant in Ikorodu where expired consumables are recycled and redistributed in and outside the metropolis.

Eko Trust had reported that four persons were arrested over their alleged involvement in the recycling of expired medical consumables in Lagos.
