Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has declared his intention to contest for a second term in office.
He disclosed this via his Instagram, sharing a photo of himself picking up his nomination forms at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national headquarters in Abuja on Monday.

The Governor also shared the news on his Twitter handle: @AkinwunmiAmbode.
“I was at the National Headquarters of our party, the All Progressives Congress, to collect the Nomination Forms to re-contest for the office of Governor of Lagos State. Once again, I count on your support,” he tweeted.
