Lagos: 17 arrested as police declare emergency on cultism

No fewer than 17 suspected members of cult gangs have been arrested in different parts of Lagos metropolis in Lagos State following the declaration of a state of emergency on cultism by the state’s police command on Thursday.

The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who paraded the suspects, said they were arrested in Ikorodu, Badagry and Isolo, adding that three of the notorious ones terrorising Ikorodu led by one “70” in Isolo had been arrested.
