One major way to reduce road-related incidents and raise the standard of drivers is through training, the Country CEO of Lafarge Africa Plc Mr. Khaled El Dokani has said.
Dokani was speaking at the launching of Lafarge Driving Institute in its Ewekoro plant in Ogun State, South-West Nigeria.
- Do you know foreigners are begging to be citizens of Nigeria?
- Leaders reach common ground to save Nigeria
In a statement, Dokani said the continuing number of deaths and serious injuries on roads demands concrete mitigation action to improve road safety.
The Chief Finance Officer/Supply Chain Director of Lafarge, Mr. Lolu Akinyemi, said with the new facility, Lafarge is taking critical steps in implementing its training programme and investing in developing its drivers while embedding the ideal culture within its driver community.
