Labour Party (LP) has raised alarm over the absence of its logo and name on the ballot papers meant for the Saturday’s election in Ondo State.
Members of the LP who trooped the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters office on Alagbaka road noticed the omission.
The ballot papers, according to the LP members, were the ones meant for the National Assembly elections in the state.
Daily Trust gathered that there was no logo on the ballot papers sent to Ondo Central Senatorial Sistrict, Akoko North West/North East, Akoko Southwest/SouthEast, Akure North/South, Okitipupa/Irele, Ilaje/Ese-Odo, and Ondo East/West.

One of the candidates of the LP who spoke with Daily Trust, accused the electoral body of deliberately omitting the logo of the party.
“We just noticed the ballot paper sent for the Senate and House of Representatives poll in Ondo has no logo of our party (LP).
“I think it’s aimed at disfranchising us in tomorrow’s (Saturday) election. This is unacceptable. The same happened in Lagos”, the source told Daily Trust.
Many LP members in the state have asked INEC to postpone the election exercise in the state.
A spokesperson for INEC in Ondo could not be immediately reached as of the time of filling this story.
