Kwara woman wants divorce over barrenness, sickness

A housewife, Latifat Musa, has applied to divorce her husband, Musa Kareem, at the area court, Centre-Igboro, Ilorin, Kwara State, over “consistent sickness and miscarriage.’

The applicant told the court that she had been treating varieties of sicknesses since she got married three years ago and even lost a pregnancy in the process.

 She said, “Since I married my husband three years ago, I have suffered different ailments consistently and miscarriages without any child.

 “I can no longer carry on, I want this court to dissolve this union for peace to reign.”

 The Judge, Aminullahi AbdulLateef, adjourned the case to August 14, 2023, for the husband to be served and briefed on the case.
