The federation president also expressed his excitement over the proposed badminton hall, a project that has been championed by Governor AbdulRazaq.
According to Orbih, the establishment of the badminton hall will transform Kwara State into the “Mecca of Badminton” in Nigeria, attracting athletes, enthusiasts, and international tournaments to the state.
“The Governor’s commitment to badminton is commendable, and the proposed badminton hall will be a game-changer for the sport. It will not only improve the sport’s visibility but will also provide a hub for training, competitions, and talent discovery,” Orbih added.
He said the strategic investments in sports infrastructure by the Kwara State government are a long-term commitment to fostering sports excellence and creating opportunities for young athletes in the state.
