Kwara: JNI to distribute books to schools

The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Kwara State Council, under the auspices of the Emir of Ilorin and Vice President General of JIN, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, will on September 28, 2024, embark on the distribution of educational materials worth millions of naira to all JNI schools across the 16 LGAs of the state.

In a statement, the Chairman, Publicity Committee of the council, Dr Salihu Woru Mohammed, said the historic event which would be launched at the JNI Central Mosque, Fate Road, Ilorin, was part of the organisation’s efforts to complement the state government in the educational and human capital development in the state.

He said that the event would be conducted by the state’s Chairman of JNI, Dr Haliru Yahaya, the Emir of Shonga; and that the Executive Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazak, would be special guest of honour; while retired Justice Lambo Akanbi and Ambassador Nimota Niyilola Akanbi would be the co-chairmen of the occasion.
