Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, have condoled with the University of Ilorin over the tragic motor accident that left a student dead and several others injured.
AbdulRazaq prayed for the family of the deceased and wished the injured students quick recoveries.
On his part, Saraki sympathised with victims and urged the school management to review the traffic regulations on the campus to further improve safe driving in the institution.
City & Crime reports that the accident involved a school shuttle bus carrying 10 students.

Several other victims reportedly suffered varying degrees of injuries including loss of arm in the fatal crash, which occurred on Thursday.
While some accounts attributed the cause of the accident, which involved a small commercial bus, popularly called “Korope” to tyre burst, others said it was a brake failure.
