Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has given a posthumous honour to the late Olusola Saraki, the father of his arch political rival and former Governor of the state, Bukola Saraki.
The award which also recognised all past democratically elected governors of the state, including Shaaba Lafiagi, a PDP member, however, left out Bukola and the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

Other former governors honoured are the late Mohammed Alabi Lawal and Cornelius Adebayo.
Speaking at the event in Ilorin, Gov AbdulRazaq said the awards underlined his administration’s efforts to promote excellence, hard work, patriotism, inclusion and sustainable development.
