Kwara State government has secured over N887m World Bank funding to boost and support infrastructure upgrade in primary healthcare facilities in the state.
Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Nusirat Elelu disclosed this on Sunday.
Elelu added that the support comes under the Immunisation Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) project, for which the government has paid a counterpart fund.

She said at least one primary healthcare facility in each of the 193 wards of the state will receive N4.6m for facility upgrade.
