The Kwara State Fire Service on Monday recovered the body of an unidentified middle-aged man who allegedly drowned after Saturday morning’s downpour in llorin.

The identity of the corpse could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

The smartly dressed corpse was discovered in a river under Osere bridge along Cemetary road in llorin West Local Government Area of the state.

The Director of the State Fire Service, Mr Falade Olumuyiwa, while speaking with Daily Trust described the incident as unfortunate.
